I woke up at night

I opened my eyes and I couldn’t see anything,

I couldn’t see the faces or the horses or the beautiful things.

The truth was called light, but I saw no sunshine,

I wasn’t in the beautiful world, I wasn’t in reality.

What kind of creatures do we hide in our minds?

Rainbows, unicorns, monsters, elves, witches,

They all play their roles in the world of fiction,

Do we know that we know that we don’t know?

I woke up and I was in the dark beside the monsters of my mind.

I woke up at night, I was dreaming about waking up.
