In my opinion, it would have been best if majority of the picture wasn't so blurry, though I DO like how you focused on the syringe. It just would have been easier on the eyes if you could see more of the details.
I like the simple composition of the glass, syringe and blood drops, though i agree with Dave that it would have been better if the drops were under the syringe and not at a distance.
But overall, it's a very very nice picture, and you did a great job in capturing the idea.
Few minor nit pics for the image since your asking. Conceptual stuff really relies on the minor things in the image to allow the viewer to totally tie into the idea.
First. The blood drops aren't under the syringe. Really important to keep alignment in stuff like this.
Second. The color in they syringe and the glass don't match. Be very careful of color coordination in an image.
Third. The letters on the syringe. Either keep them in view or don't. No middle ground. I miss this from time to time myself but try to keep it in mind.
Really love the title. It's so thought provoking. Is it bad or good? Well that's for the viewer to decide and THAT my friend is what this conceptual shit is all about. It's not just about what we see but what the viewer see's.
It's a beautiful thing...
Much love...
Dave
